The practical magic of Numerology was taught to me by my gifted Numerologist mum and a lot was simply absorbed by being around her, listening and watching, sometimes without even knowing that’s what I was doing.
My mum was a very gifted Numerologist who knew her craft inside out and loved it with a passion. Numerology is for the people – humankind.
You can live life one of two ways – either by pushing against the natural flow of the tide or by swimming along with it staying open and conscious to opportunity and gifts that are given throughout life. Numerology is a fabulous tool that teaches you how to swim along with the flow and accept the opportunities when they are given.

Let’s start with your life path – or Path of Destiny, either term is accurate. This gives you an understanding of your natural destiny, it points to what it is that comes as naturally to you as breathing and gives insight into the kind of lifestyle most suitable for you. Knowing and understanding this is the first step in gaining clarity of the direction you are headed in and knowing what you have innately to work with and the kinds of experiences that are best for your development.

Your life path tells you what you are naturally good at and what you are here for without even trying, it’s a source of power and energy, something you can trust and draw on as you meet your responsibilities in the world, it’s a major part of who you are and what you came here to do. Your life path and destiny even though different in meaning, work together and belong together. The natural abilities of your life path help you move forward in life and fulfil the work of your destiny or personal power.
Your life path number provides clues as to how to live your most fulfilling life, how to live with ease and grace. This does not mean you will never be challenged or experience painful situations, what it does mean is that your life will flow more rather than you pushing up hill all the time to make things happen. Living according to your path will give you a greater peace of mind, more energy, more connection and a deeper sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. The number basics are:
Number 1:
Ruled by the SUN, number one is an active, masculine and dominant number which is about taking the initiative, starting new things and leading.
Number 2:
Ruled by the MOON, number two is about emotion, magnetism and attraction. The keynotes are slowness, diplomacy, mediation, peace, sensitivity and relationships.
Number 3:
Ruled by the creative planet JUPITER, these people are social butterflies and extremely talented, especially in the arts.
Number 4:
The planet URANUS rules this number which is all about practicality with a capital P. Drawn to the order of things, these people have a deep need to make the world a better place.
Number 5:
Ruled by MERCURY these people are restless and mercurial by nature. These people are usually quick on their feet and quick in their mind with a myriad of ideas darting throughout their thinking on a daily basis.
Number 6:
VENUS is the ruling planet here, something that is often quite obvious on meeting those with this number vibration. They are usually visibly beautiful as well as being lovers of all things beauty and harmony.
Number 7:
This vibration is ruled by NEPTUNE which is very much about what goes on under the surface, so it should come as no surprise that those living out the number 7 are mostly introverted with a deep focus on their own soul development.
Number 8:
Ruled by SATURN life for these people is about business and reaping what has been sown. This is a very business and money focused vibration which, when lived correctly brings in humanitarianism, love and wisdom.

This number is ruled by MARS, the planet of completion and sorting out. These people act as mirrors for others, in both positive and negative ways.

Carrying the energy of both the 3 and the 6, this energy is about intuition, vision, creativity and expression in all forms. The challenge for those who are 33/6 is to live authentically, to honour and express their true feelings. To not expect perfection from themselves or others. To forget about right and wrong and to follow their own knowing with trust, rather than doubt. To accept that life is both light and shadow and that both have their place.
