I’d like to talk about names. Specifically the importance of names when it comes to number vibration, the numerology of your name.
Your very first name, the name you are given at birth is what I’m talking about.
That first name is who you came into the world as, it’s who you are at the very core and is part of the numerology blueprint you chose before coming into this world.
That first name includes all names you were given, first, middle, sometimes several middle, and surname. This is you.
All those names, along with your birthdate make up the whole person that is you and any name changes you have during your life do make a difference,
If you don’t use your middle name or names, if you don’t use your surname that makes a difference, if you shorten your name that makes a difference, if you lengthen your name that makes a difference. If you go by your middle name and don’t use your first name that makes a difference.
How changing your name changes you
But the thing that makes the most difference is if you actually change your name. A change of name is a change in vibration which creates a change in you, a change in your life.
Those changes can be positive, negative or neutral but it’s important to understand that before you actually make any changes to your name so that you know the vibration you are inviting in.
Let’s say you get married and replace your surname with your partners name, or you take on your partners name and hyphenate that with your own, the vibration will be different to the one you were born with.
Now this could be a great change or it could not, knowing that before hand though is key.
I liken it to taking on a stage name, an acting name, a pen name or any performing name in that you are putting a mask on over the top of your actual name.
That alternative name can create quite powerful changes in the way you feel about yourself, the way you see yourself and how you are perceived by other people.
There are many different reasons for someone changing their name or names. just know that can also change some life experiences and circumstances. If you consider that we are all energy and attract people, circumstances and experiences based on our energy (like attracts like), that should come as no surprise.
And this is where the magnitude of understanding the energy of the new or adopted name comes in. Which brings me to the point of the mask, because you are still you underneath that mask.
Name changes examples
There are many examples of people who adopted a new name for their public persona and became famous and/or celebrated after that name change. It’s possible that some of those people may not have become as successful as they have, had they used their own original names. Because their vibration would be different.
These are just a few examples:
- Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell => Billie Eilish
- Kayleigh Rose Amstutz => Chappell Roan
- Eric Marlon Bishop => Jamie Foxx
- Jason Joel Desrouleaux => Jason Derulo
- Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton Wykeham Fiennes => Ralph Fiennes
- Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon => Reese Witherspoon
- Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers => Brie Larson
- John Roger Stephens => John Legend
- Peter Gene Hernandez => Bruno Mars
- Caryn Elaine Johnson => Whoopi Goldberg
- Eilleen Regina Twain => Shania Twain
- Robert Allen Zimmerman => Bob Dylan
- Ralph Lipschitz => Ralph Lauren
- Dino Crocetti => Dean Martin
- Krishna Pandit Bhanji => Sir Ben Kingsley
- Issur Danielovitch => Kirk Douglas
- Terry Gonk => Richard Clapton
- Marion Robert Morrison => John Wayne
So from this small sample of people who’ve become famous using an alternative name to their birth name you can see that their vibrations, their personas, using those alternative names, would be quite different from that at birth.
This also brings me to the topic of naming your baby. Once you understand the significance of name vibration, choosing a name for your unborn child becomes a little more complex…or simple. Either way it can be a fun game to play…trust me I’ve been there 🙂
This also raises the question of middle names, these were once reserved for nobility in England in medieval times and there was actually a law that made middle names illegal for the rest of the population. The popularity of middle names really only became a thing and took hold in the 19th century.
When it comes to numerology, whether you have a middle name or not really doesn’t matter, your blueprint is based on your full name at birth, your date of birth and any changes to your name during your life.
